Beltane Fire Festival Retreat

Beltane, also known as May Day or ‘Bright Fire,’ is a Celtic festival marking the beginning of summer, traditionally celebrated on May 1st . This ancient festival celebrates Spring at its peak and the coming of summer… a celebration of all the light yet to come. This sacred event was often held with may poles, bonfires, dancing, and performing fertility rituals. Beltane is a Celtic word for “the fires of Bel.” Bel, referring to the Celtic sun god, Belenus. Commence this tradition of fertility of the new, into the next cycle of rebirth.

We are excited to announce our Beltane Fire Festival retreat at the beautiful Cliffs Edge Retreat, starting Friday evening May 2, 5pm to Saturday evening May 3, 5pm. (Our last Retreat Sold Out. Space is limited.)

The Gates of Avalon

Join us Saturday, March 1st, 2025 for a full day at the beautiful Cliff’s Edge Retreats location in Bauline South, NL.

Located 45 minutes from St Johns, NL, this destination location is sure to soothe the soul next to the Atlantic Ocean. We will gather in the Mickey Broad community room, to open ceremony at 10am. An intention on this journey will be set, and we honor this with sacred space. Calling upon our ancestors and guides, we gather to bring forth wisdom into the rich spiritual history that Newfoundland has to offer. Each practitioner, brings a lens of insight and modalities, as you allow in space to rest and receive, with an opening to remember your truth.

10am- Opening ceremony

1030am- Yin-style yoga (for all levels)

12pm- Catered lunch of chicken feta apple wraps and homemade vegetable soup with dessert

(gluten free/vegan options available)

12:30- 1:30pm- Barrel sauna access at the Forager building or ocean meditation at the beach.

1:30pm- Sound bowl therapy in community room

2:30pm- 3-6-9 Frequency energy healing meditation

3:30pm- Closing Ceremony

4pm- Closure

  • Clients are offered a 30 minute post integration virtual appointment option, for 1 week post ceremony.

  • Practitioners will allot time on schedule for Zoom or Google Meet via emails.
